Gouache su carta raffigurante una donna che guarda fuori dalla terrazza di un palazzo. La composizione è sbilanciata ma le proporzioni dei personaggi danno conto della loro vicinanza sul piano prospettico. Sappiamo quindi che la protagonista del dipinto è la fanciulla sulla destra e percepiamo una vita quasi frenetica fuori dall’edificio, con personaggi minori intenti in diverse attività in quello che sembra un accampamento. La natura rigogliosa e le due antilopi in primo piano sembrano descrivere un momento di tranquillità.

Gouache on paper depicting a woman looking out from the terrace of a palace. The composition is unbalanced but the proportions of the characters give an account of their proximity on the perspective plane. We therefore know that the protagonist of the painting is the girl on the right and we perceive an almost frenetic life outside the building, with minor characters engaged in various activities in what looks like an encampment. The luxuriant nature and the two antelopes in the foreground seem to describe a moment of tranquillity.
