Gouache su carta raffigurante un sovrano, non identificabile con sicurezza, seduto su una sedia in stile europeo sulla terrazza di un palazzo in compagnia di un’ancella che gli porge una ghirlanda di fiori. Il cielo è scuro quindi l’ambientazione è serale ed è teatralmente inquadrata da una quinta architettonica ed un drappo sollevato.

Gouache on paper depicting a sovereign, who cannot be identified with certainty, seated on a European-style chair on the terrace of a palace in the company of a maiden who hands him a garland of flowers. The sky is dark so the setting is evening and is theatrically framed by an architectural backdrop and a raised drape.
